OSI Systems wins $11M order for security inspection systems

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS) announced that its Security division received an approximately $11 million order from a North American customer for Rapiscan inspection systems along with maintenance and support services under a multi-year agreement.
The Hawthorne, California-based company said the order includes expanding the customer's existing installed base of inspection systems, with ongoing maintenance and support services also covered under the agreement.
Ajay Mehra, President and CEO of OSI Systems, said in a statement, "This latest order reflects the confidence our customer continues to place in the reliability of our inspection systems."
OSI Systems operates through three segments: Security, Optoelectronics and Manufacturing, and Healthcare, serving customers in more than 170 countries.
