DXC Technology partners with Primary on AI security platform

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) announced a strategic partnership with Primary, making DXC the exclusive managed services provider for Primary's AI-native Zero Trust platform, according to a press release dated Aug. 6, 2026.

The joint offering is designed to help enterprises govern how AI agents and enterprise AI applications access data, while addressing security, identity, and compliance requirements. DXC will deliver the platform through its global cybersecurity organization, providing consulting, implementation, integration, governance, and ongoing managed security services.

The partnership targets organizations moving AI systems from pilot programs into production environments, where autonomous AI agents access sensitive enterprise data across complex infrastructure. Traditional security models, built for users, devices, and networks, do not account for AI agents operating in those environments, according to the companies.

"Trusted AI requires more than securing infrastructure; it requires governing how AI systems access data, identities, and business processes," said Dawn-Marie Vaughan, Cybersecurity Global Offering Lead at DXC Technology.

Primary Co-Founder and President Michael Marx described the platform as transforming "cross-domain telemetry into continuous, context-aware policy enforcement across the full AI workflow."

The platform is aimed at organizations in regulated industries facing requirements around governance, compliance, data sovereignty, and security. Specific financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
