Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE: MLM) announced it has received all necessary regulatory approvals for its previously announced combination with Lhoist North America, Inc., according to a press release issued Aug. 5, 2026.
The transaction is now expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Martin Marietta, based in Raleigh, N.C., is a supplier of aggregates and other building materials operating across 29 states, Canada, and The Bahamas. The company also produces magnesia and dolomitic lime products through its Specialties business.
Upon completion of the deal, Martin Marietta claims it expects to become the nation's leading producer of lime and limestone solutions.
