InterDigital signs patent license deal with EV charger maker KEBA

InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC) has signed a patent license agreement with KEBA Energy Automation GmbH, covering certain electric vehicle charger products under InterDigital's global patent portfolio related to 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi standards.
The agreement extends InterDigital's licensing activity into the EV charging sector, adding KEBA to its roster of licensees in the Internet of Things market.
Julia Mattis, Chief Licensing Officer at InterDigital, said in a statement: "This license reflects the expansion of connectivity into new verticals and demonstrates KEBA's recognition of the value our innovation brings to products in the Internet of Things."
InterDigital is a research and development company focused on wireless, video, and artificial intelligence technologies, licensing its patent portfolio to device makers and service providers worldwide.
