MacroGenics sells CDMO operations to Bora Pharmaceuticals for $122.5M

MacroGenics, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGNX) completed the sale of its contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) operations to Bora Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. and Bora Biologics USA, LLC on June 30, 2026.
The transaction, originally announced via an Asset Purchase Agreement dated May 11, 2026, involved the transfer of assets and liabilities related to MacroGenics' GMP manufacturing operations at its Rockville, Maryland facility and a related warehouse in Frederick, Maryland. Research and related assets were excluded from the sale.
Bora Pharmaceuticals, a Taiwan-based company, along with its U.S. affiliate paid MacroGenics $122.5 million before transaction fees and expenses. The final amount is subject to customary post-closing adjustments. Bora has assumed responsibility for the CDMO operations.
