Clearmind Medicine receives new U.S. patent for binge behavior treatments
Clearmind Medicine Inc. (Nasdaq: CMND), a clinical-stage biotech company, has been granted U.S. Patent No. 12,357,590, titled "Binge Behavior Regulators," by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, according to a press release from the Vancouver-based company.
The patent covers the MEAI (5-methoxy-2-aminoindane) molecule and related 2-aminoindan derivatives for regulating binge behaviors, including excessive drinking, eating, and other compulsive disorders.
The newly granted patent builds on Clearmind's previously issued U.S. Patent No. 12,350,242. The company's intellectual property portfolio currently consists of 19 patent families, including 32 granted patents in total.
