KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY) reported Q2 EPS of $0.73, $0.20 better than the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.77 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.73 billion.
In July of 2021, Key's Board of Directors approved a new share repurchase authorization program of up to $1.5 billion, applicable for the third quarter of 2021 through the third quarter of 2022, that supersedes the remaining capacity under the previous authorization. Additionally, Key will evaluate an increase to the per share common dividend in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to Board approval.
