American Express (AXP) Tops Q3 EPS by 5c, Offers Guidance

American Express (NYSE: AXP) reported Q3 EPS of $2.08, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $2.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.94 billion.

Guidance:

The 2019 adjusted EPS guidance, a non-GAAP measure, is between $7.85 and $8.35 and excludes the litigation-related charge and any contingencies that may occur in the fourth quarter.
