Beazer Homes (BZH) Tops Q1 EPS by 9c

Beazer Homes (NYSE: BZH) reported Q1 EPS of $0.23, may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $402 million versus the consensus estimate of $406.63 million.

• This included energy tax credits of $5.3 million, partially offset by an impairment of $1.0 million. First quarter Adjusted EBITDA of $26.8 million was down $1.6 million, or 5.5%, compared to the same period last year.
