Caterpillar (CAT) Tops Q3 EPS by 3c

Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) reported Q3 EPS of $2.86, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $2.83. Revenue for the quarter came in at $13.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $13.18 million.

GUIDANCE:

Caterpillar sees FY2018 EPS of $11.00-$12.00, versus the consensus of $11.66.

• Profit per share outlook $10.65 to $11.65; maintained adjusted profit per share outlook at $11.00 to $12.00
