Freshpet (FRPT) Misses Q2 EPS by 3c, Sales Beat; Raises Outlook

Freshpet (NASDAQ: FRPT) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.10), $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $47.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $45.96 million.

GUIDANCE:

• To exceed net sales of $190 million, an increase greater than 25% from 2017, and reflects an increase from prior guidance of $185 million
• To exceed Adjusted EBITDA of $20.0 million, an increase greater than 14%, consistent with prior guidance
