Eaton (ETN) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c

Eaton (NYSE: ETN) reported Q2 EPS of $1.39, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $1.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.45 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Eaton sees 2018 EPS of $5.20-$5.40, versus the consensus of $5.25.

• “For the third quarter of 2018, we anticipate earnings per share to be between $1.35 and $1.45.”
