Rite Aid (RAD) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c, Revenue Comes in Light

Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) reported Q3 EPS of $0.00, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.45 billion.

Same store sales from continuing operations for the quarter decreased 2.5 percent from the prior year, consisting of a 3.5 percent decrease in pharmacy sales and a 0.5 percent decrease in front-end sales
