Reinsurance Group of America (NYSE: RGA) reported Q2 EPS of $2.95, $0.47 better than the analyst estimate of $2.48. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.13 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3 billion.

• Reported net premiums increased 6 percent in the second quarter
• Quarterly shareholder dividend raised 22 percent to $0.50 per quarter
