Cubic Corp. (CUB) Tops Q2 EPS by 15c; Updates FY16 Outlook

Cubic Corp. (NYSE: CUB) reported Q2 EPS of $0.38, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $366 million versus the consensus estimate of $349.7 million.

Total backlog of $2.809 billion as of March 31, 2016.

GUIDANCE:

Cubic Corp. sees FY2016 EPS of $1.20-$1.40, versus the consensus of $1.41. Cubic Corp. sees FY2016 revenue of $1.51-1.56 billion, versus the consensus of $1.50 billion.
