Abbott (ABT) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c; Boosts FY16 EPS Outlook

Abbott (NYSE: ABT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.41, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.9 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.78 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Abbott sees FY2016 EPS of $2.14 - $2.24, versus prior guidance of $2.10 - $2.20 and the consensus of $2.16.
