Matrix Service (MTRX) Misses Q2 EPS by 9c, Reduces FY Guidance

Matrix Service (NASDAQ: MTRX) reported Q2 EPS of $0.27, $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $323.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $345.44 million.

GUIDANCE:

Matrix Service sees FY2016 EPS of $1.30-$1.50, versus prior guidance of $1.45-$1.75 and the consensus of $1.59. Matrix Service sees FY2016 revenue of $1.3-1.4 billion, versus prior guidance of $1.4-1.6 billion and the consensus of $1.42 billion.
