Avnet (AVT) Tops Q1 EPS by 9c

Avnet (NYSE: AVT) reported Q1 EPS of $1.12, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.97 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.74 billion.

Avnet sees Q2 2016 EPS of $1.20-$1.30, versus the consensus of $1.25. Avnet sees Q2 2016 revenue of $6.9-7.5 billion, versus the consensus of $7.3 billion.
