Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) reported Q1 EPS of $0.68, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.69 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.67 billion.
Same-restaurant sales increased 3.4% for the quarter.
Darden Restaurants sees FY2016 EPS of $3.15-$3.30, versus prior guidance of $3.05-$3.20 and the consensus of $3.13.
