Second fiscal quarter highlights

Highlights from the second quarter include:

Net income of $8.8 million, or $1.92 per diluted share, in the second quarter, a $10.4 million increase, or $2.25 increase per share, compared to the same quarter of the prior fiscal year;
Total revenues increased $4.4 million to $139.2 million, or 3.2%, compared to the same quarter of the prior fiscal year;
Loans 0-60 days past due on a recency basis decreased from 20.0% as of September 30, 2025, to 18.9%

World Acceptance Corporation (NASDAQ: WRLD) has appointed John L. Calmes Jr. as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 21, 2026, according to a company statement.

Calmes previously served as the company's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, and Treasurer, where he oversaw financial strategy, capital markets activities, and corporate strategy initiatives.
