VIQ Solutions Inc. (TSX: VQS) announced that Chief Executive Officer Sebastien Pare has resigned from his role and from the company's board of directors, effective immediately.

Larry Taylor has been appointed as interim CEO and will work with the executive team and board to focus on profitability, growth and free cash flow generation, according to a company statement.

The company also appointed Elizabeth Pennell as Global Head of Operations. Pennell joined VIQ in January 2020 through the acquisition of ASC Media and has over 30 years of industry experience. She previously led the integration of the company's USA and UK operations and
