Investing.com -- Shares of Ultralife Corporation (NASDAQ:ULBI) surged 145% in premarket trading Wednesday following an agreement to be acquired by industrial battery maker Enersys (NYSE:ENS) in an all-cash deal valued at approximately $320 million, including net debt. EnerSys (NYSE: ENS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ultralife (NASDAQ: ULBI) for $16.00 per share in cash, representing a 166% premium to Ultralife's unaffected closing share price on October 26, 2026, according to a press release from EnerSys. The transaction carries an enterprise value of approximately $320 million.

Ultralife, headquartered in Newark, New York, supplies rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, battery systems, and related accessories primarily for military communications and specialized applications.
