ReposiTrak extends scan-based trading to warehouse deliveries

ReposiTrak, Inc. (NYSE: TRAK) announced that the first warehouse-delivered supplier is live with a major retailer on its ReposiTrak SBT 2.0 platform, expanding the scan-based trading model beyond its traditional use in direct store delivery.

Under the program, a supplier ships products through a retailer's warehouse and distribution network while retaining ownership of the inventory until each product is scanned and sold at the retail register. The point-of-sale scan automatically triggers a transfer of ownership from the supplier to the retailer and initiates supplier payment.
