Smith-Midland Corporation (NASDAQ: SMID) has secured a $1.7 million contract to manufacture and deliver precast concrete utility vaults for a data center project in northern Louisiana, according to a company press release.

The Virginia-based company is producing the utility vaults at its Midland, VA manufacturing facility, with deliveries scheduled through the end of 2026. The project is located more than 1,000 miles from the manufacturing site.

Smith-Midland Corporation (NASDAQ: SMID) received three Virginia transportation infrastructure contracts totaling more than $2.7 million for precast concrete sound wall systems.

The projects involve manufacturing and delivering over 100,000 linear feet of sound wall systems, panels, posts, and retaining walls for roadway improvements across Virginia, according to a company statement.

Smith-Midland will work with Shirley Contracting on two projects: the Devlin Road project in Prince William County and the Fairfax County Parkway project in Fairfax County. The Fairfax County Parkway replacement wall will be taller than the existing structure.
