Q/C Technologies names Yossef Ehrlichman as PIC development manager

Q/C Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCLS) has appointed Yossef Ehrlichman, Ph.D., as Founding Manager of Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Development, according to a company statement.

Dr. Ehrlichman will lead engineering efforts for the company's optical processing unit (OPU) initiative, overseeing development of its silicon photonic architecture. He brings more than 15 years of experience in designing, fabricating, and commercializing silicon PICs, and holds multiple U.S. patents while having authored peer-reviewed publications in integrated photonics.

Before joining Q/C Technologies, Dr. Ehrlichman held senior engineering roles at Bascom Hunter Technologies, Raytheon, and Axalume, where he worked on photonic integrated circuits for communications, sensing, and optical

(Nasdaq: QCLS) (“Q/C Technologies” or “the Company”), a developer of next-generation optical computing solutions, today announced the appointment of Yossef Ehrlichman, Ph.D. as Founding Manager, Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Development.

Q/C Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: QCLS) has relocated its headquarters from New York City to San Francisco, California, as part of its effort to develop a proprietary optical processing unit (OPU) for artificial intelligence inference applications, according to a press release.

The company has engaged Lumicity, a U.S. staffing agency focused on emerging technologies, to recruit optical, semiconductor, and systems engineers in the region. Q/C Technologies said it has already hired engineers with backgrounds at IGP Photonics, Neurophos, and IonQ.
