Sun Peak Metals Corp. (TSXV: PEAK)(OTCQB: SUNPF) announced a non-brokered private placement offering of up to $5,000,000 through the issuance of up to 12,500,000 units priced at $0.40 per unit.

Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at $0.55 per share for a period of two years from the closing of the offering.

The warrants include an accelerated expiry provision. If the volume-weighted average price of the company's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange equals or exceeds $1.10 for 10 consecutive trading
