Orecap Invest Corp (TSXV: OCI) announced it has closed the sale of its Mirado gold property to Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp (TSXV: KLDC) in exchange for a 19.9% ownership stake in KLDC, according to a company statement.

The transaction allows Orecap to divest its 100%-owned Mirado property, located 35 kilometers southeast of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, while retaining exposure to the asset through its equity position in the acquiring company.
