Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) and NorthWestern Energy Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NWE) announced plans to rename the combined company Bright Horizon Energy Corporation if their proposed merger receives final regulatory approval.

Under the plan, Black Hills Corp. would be renamed Bright Horizon Energy Corporation, with its common stock trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "HZN." NorthWestern Energy would become a wholly owned subsidiary of the combined company.

The Montana Public Service Commission is expected to consider the merger before Nov. 12, 2026. Completion of the merger remains subject to satisfactory final approval from the Commission. Trading under
