Newfoundland Discovery closes Angola gold project acquisition

Newfoundland Discovery Corp. (CSE: NEWD) has closed its acquisition of Orenoxe Holdings Corp., gaining the right to earn up to a 70% interest in GOLDANGO - Mineração, Lda., which holds the 786 km² Ganda gold concession in Benguela Province, Angola, according to a company statement.

The transaction received Canadian Securities Exchange approval. Under the agreement, Newfoundland Discovery paid US$220,000 in cash at closing, US$140,000 in kwanza for Angolan licence fees, and issued 9,900,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.12 per share. An additional 9,100,000 shares are contingent on US$1,000,000 in qualifying exploration expenditures within 24 months. Deferred cash payments
