DataMEDS acquires Helomics cancer diagnostics business for $1.5M

DataMEDS AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDS) has completed the acquisition of Helomics Corporation, an artificial intelligence cancer diagnostics laboratory, from Axe Compute Inc. (NASDAQ: AGPU), according to a press release.

Under the terms of the deal, DataMEDS acquired Helomics in exchange for common shares and an acquisition note totaling $1.5 million in purchase value. In addition to the Helomics CLIA/CAP-certified clinical laboratory and all associated equipment, DataMEDS also received the Predictive Oncology contract research organization central lab services business and $1.5 million in cash. The transaction carries no third-party debt and no outstanding unpaid accounts payable beyond ongoing monthly operational expenses.

Axe Compute Inc. (NASDAQ: AGPU) has sold its Helomics Corporation subsidiary to DataMEDS AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEDS) in an all-stock transaction, according to a press release issued Sept. 15, 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, Axe Compute received common shares and common share equivalents of DataMEDS in exchange for Helomics, a Pittsburgh-based oncology platform that applies artificial intelligence to tumor data to support drug discovery and cancer treatment decisions.
