DA Davidson analyst Griffin Bryan reiterated a Neutral rating and $30.00 price target on Malibu Boats (NASDAQ: MBUU).

The analyst commented, "MBUU announced that it has acquired Saxdor Yachts for approximately EUR 150M ($175M USD), representing a valuation of approximately 7.2x Saxdor's estimated EBITDA of ~$24.3M for the 12M period ending 3/31/26. The transaction represents a strategic push into international markets (67% of revenue outside NA), with an opportunity to expand sales in NA through key dealer relationships along with potential international expansion for MBUU’s legacy brands. Malibu Boats Inc. (NASDAQ: MBUU) announced the acquisition of Saxdor Yachts for approximately €150 million ($175 million), marking the company's entry into European manufacturing operations. The transaction represents a valuation of approximately 7.2 times estimated EBITDA for the twelve months ending March 31, 2026.

Founded in 2019 in Helsinki, Finland, Saxdor Yachts manufactures premium adventure dayboats and operates manufacturing facilities in Finland and Poland. The company has delivered over 2,000 boats worldwide and employs more than 800 people across its three facilities.

The acquisition consideration consists of €110 million ($130 million) in cash and €40 million ($45 million) in Malibu common stock.
