Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BAM, TSX: BAM) and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) have agreed to acquire LXP Industrial Trust (NYSE: LXP) in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $5.2 billion, including net debt and preferred equity.

Under the terms of the definitive merger agreement, LXP shareholders will receive $61.20 per share in cash. The price represents a 12.3% premium to LXP's 30-day volume weighted average price and a 19.8% premium to its 90-day volume weighted average price, both calculated for the period ended July 17, 2026.

LXP holds a portfolio of approximately 53 million square feet across 108 warehouse
