Investing.com -- Eli Lilly could see a larger commercial opportunity for its experimental oral obesity drug orforglipron, Wolfe analyst said, raising its price target as it expects strong long-term demand and continued dominance in the weight-loss market. The price target on the drugmaker is $1325 raised from $1250.

Lilly is Outperform rated after higher long-term sales estimates for orforglipron, which Wolfe now expects could generate peak annual revenue of about $44 billion, up from $32 billion previously and above the roughly $26 billion consensus estimate.

Investing.com -- Eli Lilly plans to invest $3 billion in China over the next decade to build production capacity for its experimental type-2 diabetes and obesity treatment orforglipron, the drugmaker said Wednesday.

The company submitted a marketing application for orforglipron to China's drug regulator at the end of 2025, Lilly said in a statement on WeChat.
