Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG, OTCQB: LGCXF, FSE: Y2F) has signed a definitive arrangement agreement dated September 15, 2026, to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Emergent Metals Corp. in an all-share transaction, according to a press release from the company.

Under the terms of the deal, Emergent Metals shareholders will receive one Lahontan share for every 3.21 Emergent shares held, representing an implied price of approximately $0.115 per Emergent share. That figure represents a 47.8% premium to Emergent's 30-day volume-weighted average share price. (TSXV:LG, OTCQB:LGCXF, FSE:Y2F) (the “Company” or “Lahontan”) is pleased to announce additional results from its 2026 Sonic core drilling program at the Santa Fe Mine Project. The ten drill holes reported below were all located on Santa Fe Mine Heap Leach Pad Two (“HLP Two”) and total 168.9 metres. Nearly every drill interval (0.76m) contains meaningful gold and silver mineralization, not unexpected given that the program is evaluating a historic heap leach pad (please see table and map below).

Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG, OTCQB: LGCXF, FSE: Y2F) has hired Billy Choi as its new Chief Financial Officer, with a full transition of responsibilities expected in October 2026, according to a company statement.

Choi most recently served as Vice President of Finance at Lithium Royalty Corp., where he was involved in the company's initial public offering and subsequent acquisition by Altius Minerals. His experience includes financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and post-acquisition integration.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and holds the CPA, CA designation.
