ONERugged launches four rugged Windows AI tablets on Intel platform

ONERugged, a brand of Emdoor Information, has announced four rugged Windows tablets built on Intel's Lunar Lake platform: the EM-I10L, EM-I20L, M10L, and M20L.

The tablets are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor as standard, with optional Intel Core Ultra 7 256V and Ultra 7 258V configurations. The platform delivers up to 115 TOPS of AI performance, combining an Intel Arc GPU with up to 64 TOPS, an Intel AI Boost NPU with 47 TOPS, and a CPU contributing 4 TOPS.

All four models run Windows 11 and include 16 GB LPDDR5x memory as standard, with 32 GB available

Investing.com -- Intel confirmed Tuesday it is planning job cuts within its data center group as part of a broader strategy to become a more focused and efficient company, according to a report from Business Insider.

The chipmaker said the data center group is realigning its organization to ensure it has the right roles and skills in place to position the business for long-term success. Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) and Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT) announced a collaboration to develop Fortinet's Security Processor 6 (SP6), combining Fortinet's security processor technology with Intel's semiconductor design, packaging, and manufacturing capabilities.

According to a joint press release, the arrangement expands an existing relationship between the two companies and is also intended to diversify Fortinet's global supply chain.
