Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS) has amended its term loan agreement, extending the maturity date to July 13, 2027, according to a press release from the company.

The term loan carries an initial principal amount of $15.2 million, with the interest rate maintained at three-month SOFR plus 5%. Under the Third Amendment to the Term Loan and Security Agreement, the company is required to begin making monthly payments of $1.0 million toward principal amortization starting October 1, 2026. The amendment also includes a guaranteed minimum rate of return of 20% on principal repaid.

Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS) announced a $3.0 million follow-on order from the U.S. Army for mobile mass notification systems, bringing the total value of mobile mass notification orders received from the Army to more than $13.0 million.

The order covers Acoustics 360XT mobile systems, which will be deployed overseas to Forward Operating Sites to provide mass notification, alerts, and warnings. According to the company, this is the fourth order Genasys has received for the Army's Integrated Base Defense kits.
