Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE: GMED) announced that its Excelsius3D imaging system has received CE marking, allowing the company to begin commercial sales of the device in the European Union and United Kingdom.

The Excelsius3D is a mobile imaging platform that combines 3D cone-beam computed tomography, 2D fluoroscopy, and digital radiography in a single system. The device is designed for intraoperative use and is compatible with Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS robotic navigation system.

Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE: GMED) has acquired Higgs Boson Health, a digital healthcare company based in Durham, N.C. that was incubated out of Duke University, according to a press release dated Aug. 26, 2026.

Higgs Boson Health employs software developers and AI scientists. Globus Medical said the acquisition is intended to support patient and provider experience across the full episode of care within its musculoskeletal technology business.
