Engine Capital LP, which holds approximately 1.5% of the outstanding shares of EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM), has sent a letter to the company's board of directors urging the initiation of a $750 million accelerated share repurchase program.

In the letter, Engine Capital argued that EPAM is undervalued and called on the board to use idle cash, free cash flows, and potential leverage to repurchase shares. The firm also urged the company to strengthen alignment between company insiders and shareholders.

EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM) announced it has joined the Wiz Partner Alliance, formalizing a collaboration with Wiz, a cloud security company that is now part of Google Cloud, according to a press release dated Aug. 25, 2026.

The partnership combines Wiz's AI Application Protection Platform with EPAM's engineering and cloud modernization services. The arrangement is intended to help enterprise clients identify and remediate security risks across multi-cloud environments, including Google Cloud, AWS and Microsoft Azure.
