Elroy Air names Jeremy Hux CFO ahead of planned public listing

Elroy Air, a developer of autonomous heavy-cargo drones, has appointed Jeremy Hux as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, as the company prepares to enter the public markets through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company.

Hux brings more than 25 years of experience across investment banking and private equity, having held roles at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Marathon Capital, where he advised on more than $50 billion in financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He most recently served as CFO of UPSIDE Foods and previously as CFO of Manus Bio.

Elroy Air, a San Francisco-based developer of autonomous cargo drones, has appointed Jeremy Hux as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, as the company prepares to become publicly traded.

Hux brings more than 25 years of experience across investment banking and private equity, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, and Marathon Capital, where he advised on more than $50 billion in financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Elroy Air has expanded its private investment in public equity (PIPE) commitments to $175 million, up from a previously disclosed amount, with participation from existing investors including Lockheed Martin Ventures and Inflection Point. Of that total, $75 million has been funded ahead of the closing of Elroy Air's business combination with Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. VII (Nasdaq: IPXG).

Lockheed Martin Ventures and Elroy Air said they intend to collaborate on advanced autonomous systems and joint business development across commercial and defense markets.
