cBrain wins first California state contract for AI permitting tool

cBrain (NASDAQ: CBRAIN), a Danish software company, has secured its first contract with the State of California through the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation, according to a company announcement dated August 18, 2026.

The contract was awarded through California's SLP framework for software acquisition and covers the submission of environmental documents, modernization of a public data repository, and a new AI-based interface to make document knowledge available to the public and reviewing agencies. The stated aim is to reduce permitting and environmental review timelines.
