BeMetals Corp. (TSXV: BMET) (OTCQB: BMTLF) announced it has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to change its name to Lightning Resource Corp., with the change expected to take effect at the start of trading on July 31, 2026.

The company will trade under the new symbol "LTNG" on the TSX Venture Exchange, along with new CUSIP/ISIN numbers 531965101/CA5319651017. Existing shareholders are not required to take any action, and current share certificates will continue to represent common shares under the new name.

BeMetals Corp. (TSXV:BMET) provided an update on its proposed acquisition of mineral exploration projects from Prospector Metals Corp. (TSXV:PPP), scheduled for shareholder approval at a July 3, 2026 meeting.
