   <description>&lt;p&gt;Investing.com -- The U.S. Department of War awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) a $241.3 million contract for the repair of flight control surfaces used on Navy F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The delivery order was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022. Boeing will repair nine different configurations of flight control surfaces for the Navy aircraft.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Work will take place primarily in Jacksonville, Florida, which accounts for 83% of the contract, with the remaining 17% performed in St. Louis, Missouri. The company expects to complete the work by September 2032.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Navy will obligate $60.3 million in fiscal 2026 working capital funds</description>
