Morgan Stanley lists top 10 AI stocks to buy in Europe

Morgan Stanley recently hosted a ‘Buying the AI Dip’ (in Europe) webcast, in which they polled over 150 investors while also sharing the firm’s views across global AI thematics, European equity strategy and AI capex-exposed sectors. Following the event, analysts at the firm provided a list of 10 names to buy.

“Overall: we continue to recommend buying the dip in AI capex winners, fading the recent bottom momentum squeeze and reiterate that market breadth has likely peaked for now,” the analysts said in a note.

Bank of America (BofA) says a looming shift in DRAM chip architecture could open up a major new revenue stream for one semiconductor equipment maker, as memory manufacturers push toward more complex designs to keep scaling their chips.

In a note to clients, BofA said it believes the transition from conventional 6F² DRAM to 4F² architectures represents "one of the most significant structural growth drivers" for ASM International (OTC: ASMIY), Europe's second-largest maker of semiconductor equipment.

As DRAM scaling approaches physical and economic limits, the bank’s analysts said memory manufacturers are moving toward vertical channel transistors (VCTs), periphery-under-cell (PUC) architectures, hybrid bonding

TSMC results reinforce bullish case for these 4 European AI stocks

TSMC's (NYSE: TSM) second-quarter results gave Goldman Sachs analysts fresh conviction in their bullish calls on a select group of European chipmakers tied to the AI infrastructure buildout.

The team led by Alexander Duval said TSMC's results and updated guidance are a positive read-across for ASML (NASDAQ: ASML), ASM International, BE Semiconductor Industries, Infineon and STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM).

Goldman rates ASML, ASMI, Besi and Infineon Buy, while STMicro is rated Neutral.

TSMC reported second-quarter revenue in line with the top end of its guidance, driven by demand for leading-edge processes tied to high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications, which grew 20% quarter-over-quarter
