Investing.com -- AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AMC) reported second-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations, with the company posting its highest quarterly revenue and adjusted EBITDA in its 106-year history.

The theater chain reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.14, beating the analyst estimate of -$0.02 by $0.16. Revenue for the quarter reached $1.6 billion, surpassing the consensus estimate of $1.5 billion and marking a 14.2% increase from $1.4 billion in the second quarter of 2025. AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE: AMC) reported that more than 4.3 million moviegoers attended AMC Theatres in the United States and ODEON Cinemas internationally from Thursday through Sunday for the opening weekend of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey.
