Akari Therapeutics Plc (NASDAQ: AKTX) announced the appointment of Prafulla Gokhale, Ph.D., to its Scientific Advisory Board. Gokhale serves as Director of the Experimental Therapeutics Core and the Lurie Family Imaging Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Gokhale brings over 20 years of experience in preclinical oncology drug discovery and development. He previously held positions at Georgetown University, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, and Verastem before joining Dana-Farber, where he oversees translational research programs integrating genomics, molecular biology, patient-derived models, imaging and preclinical studies.

Akari Therapeutics Plc (NASDAQ: AKTX) appointed Olga Anczukow, Ph.D., to its Scientific Advisory Board, according to a company statement.

Anczukow serves as Associate Professor at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine and Co-Program Leader at the NCI-designated Jackson Laboratory Cancer Center. She holds a joint faculty appointment at University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she leads research focused on alternative RNA splicing in cancer.
