Truist Securities analyst Barry Jonas reiterated a Hold rating and $14.00 price target on Accel Entertainment (NYSE: ACEL).

The analyst commented: "We hosted investor meetings with ACEL CEO Mark Phelan and CFO Brett Summerer. Despite recent noise from BALY in Chicago continue to progress, now in the final stages before going live. Nearly half of the approved Chicago licenses belong to ACEL; and while exact timing remains unknown, mgmt expects to realize some benefit this year. Meetings also focused on ACEL’s diversification with Fairmount as well as its strong FCF conversion/generation. While we see lots of positives, liquidity remains an issue

Accel Entertainment CEO joins company board of directors

Accel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: ACEL) announced that its Board of Directors appointed Mark Phelan, the company's Chief Executive Officer, as a director, effective Aug. 7, 2026.

Phelan was appointed as a 2027 Class director, with his term set to expire at the company's 2027 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. He will not serve on any board committee.

The board expanded its size from nine to ten directors in connection with the appointment.

Phelan will not receive additional compensation for his board service. His existing compensation arrangements as CEO remain unchanged.

Citizens analyst Jordan Bender raised the price target on Accel Entertainment (NYSE: ACEL) to $15.00 (from $14.00) while maintaining a Market Outperform rating.

The analyst commented, "We maintain our Market Outperform rating and increase our price target to $15 from $14, based on a blended valuation of 6.3x (up from 6.0x) our 2027 EBITDA estimate and 9.0x (unchanged) our 2026-2027 FCF/ps. The stock currently trades at 5.6x 2027 consensus EBITDA, which we believe does not fully reflect its exposure to the Chicago VGT opportunity. By comparison, regional gaming companies trade at approximately 8.0x 2027 consensus EBITDA and gaming suppliers at 8.5x.
