NEW YORK, Oct. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH) will replace Arcosa Inc. (NYSE: ACA) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the opening of trading on Wednesday, October 28. S&P 500 constituent CRH plc (NYSE: CRH) has acquired Arcosa in a deal that closed today, October 23.

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH) will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 index effective prior to the opening of trading on Wednesday, October 28, replacing Arcosa Inc. (NYSE: ACA), according to a press release statement.

Arcosa is being removed from the index following its acquisition by S&P 500 constituent CRH plc (NYSE: CRH), a deal that closed on October 23. Howard Hughes Holdings will be classified under the Real Estate sector in the index, while Arcosa had been listed under Industrials.
