Warren Buffett is considered one of the greatest investors of all time. Through his Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK/A) holding company, Buffett has accumulate great wealth, and in 2010 was number 3 on Forbes list of richest people in the world, behind Bill Gates (2) and Carlos Slim (1).

Buffett is often called the "Oracle of Omaha". Buffett is from Omaha, Nebraska and continues to operate from there.

Buffett is also a great philanthropist. In 2006, Buffett made plans to give a vast majority of his wealth to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
