Strongbow Capital
Strongbow Capital is an activist Cayman Island hedge fund started in 2003 by Ray French Jr. The fund invests in undervalued companies in Ireland, Britain, the United States, and Canada. According to the fund's prospectus in 2003, it's policy involves "aggressively pursuing shareholder activist strategies to encourage these companies to unlock their underlying or intrinsic values".
Ray French Jr. graduated with a BA in economics and philosophy from Trinity College Dublin in 1992. He then received an MBA in real estate from Columbia University in 1995. While at Trinity he worked part time for Rohan Holdings.
