The firm manages a permanent capital vehicle focused on a long-term investment strategy that includes private, public, seed and strategic/venture capital. Shumway Capital managed external funds that grew from $70 million in 2002 to over $8 billion in 2011 and was recognized as a top 10 performing manager by Barron’s Magazine, before returning external capital to focus on its current asset base and strategy.
